The annual ZUMC Fall Festival will be held the second Saturday in October, October 8th. Sign-up sheets are now posted in the Narthex/Sanctuary entrance foyer; lots of volunteer help is always needed. We will also have a craft room for homemade items for sale; our Country Store will need canned goods; and we will need desserts for our food plates (bake now and freeze for that weekend). Our silent and live auction will need plenty of good items. Lots of good barbeque chicken and pork will be cooked for the event. Tickets are now on sale.
During Sunday School (9:45-10:45) and during the 11 o'clock worship, children ages infant to 2 years old are welcome in our nursery (Room 103, lower level). Children 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to participate in Sunday School (9:45-10:45) and to stay for the 11 o'clock worship in the sanctuary for the Children's Moment, a short lesson based on the pastor's sermon topic. Then the children go downstairs for Children's Church. Parents and guardians should pick up their preschoolers in Room 104 and the older children in the Music Room after worship. PLEASE USE THE SIGNOUT SHEET WHEN PICKING UP YOUR CHILDREN.
Sunday Morning Cup O' Grace
Cup O' Grace provides an opportunity for coffee and fellowship each Sunday beginning at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited to stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee and something to eat and fellowship with your church family! The Church Council will host Cup O' Grace in September and the Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study will host during October. The Adult Choir will be the host for November. The church provides all the coffee supplies but hosts may add breakfast items!!! Please see or email Pat Tarbell at email@example.com or Trish Deal at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about helping with this fellowship ministry!!! Look forward to seeing you at Cup O' Grace!
Bring the whole family for dinner and activities each Wednesday evening, 6-8pm.
Reservations need to be made by filling out a reservation slip during Sunday worship and placing it in the offering plates, or by calling/emailing the church office by noon Tuesdays for the following Wednesday night meal.
The Trustees will be purchasing new entryway signs to direct members and visitors when entering from any doorway. Anyone wanting to help with the wording and design for these signs, please contact Karen Grygiel.
