Thank you for visiting our website!
Welcome to the online version of Zebulon United Methodist Church. We are a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need.
If you are considering a place of worship or a relocation to our area, we would love to have you be our guest.
When you visit our church, you will find:
A caring congregation that will gladly welcome you
Preaching/teaching that is centered on the Word of God
Ministries to meet the spiritual needs of every age
Missions reaching our community and the world
Habitat House is coming to Zebulon: Most if not all of us know what it's like to own our home. Now is a great opportunity for us to allow someone else to own their home. Please be in prayer for this project and consider volunteering for one or all three of the church's dedicated work days. Click on the pdf file to read all about this project and get many of your questions answered. If you wish to volunteer there is a link in the pdf where to do that. Please contact Mike Powers (919-269-8972, firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mel Daughtridge (919-623-4321 email@example.com). Scheduled Habitat work days are on our church calendar. Additional information may be found on the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County website.
The missions team has scheduled a shred-a-thon for May 6th from 8 to 11 a.m.
Sunday Morning Cup O' Grace
Cup O' Grace provides an opportunity for coffee and fellowship each Sunday beginning at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited to stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee and something to eat and fellowship with your church family! Look forward to seeing you at Cup O' Grace!
The Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study currently uses the book Sensible Shoes: A Story About the Spiritual Journey by Sharon Garlough Brown. This book takes the reader into a new understanding of key spiritual practices through the stories of four women who meet during a spiritual formation journey at a retreat center. All women of the congregation and community are welcome. Call Sue Kiryluk 919-612-8176 for a book and study guide.
After 11 o'clock worship on April 30th, the Hospitality Committee will host a covered dish luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. All members and visitors are welcome. Please bring a covered dish and/or dessert for several people.
Bring the whole family for dinner and activities each Wednesday evening, 6-8pm.
Reservations need to be made by filling out a reservation slip during Sunday worship and placing it in the offering plates, or by calling/emailing the church office by noon Tuesdays for the following Wednesday night meal.
Lenten Series starts Wendesdat, March 8th. ALL are welcome!
During Sunday School (9:45-10:45) and during the 11 o'clock worship, children ages infant to 2 years old are welcome in our nursery (Room 103, lower level). Children 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to participate in Sunday School (9:45-10:45) and to stay for the 11 o'clock worship in the sanctuary for the Children's Moment, a short lesson based on the pastor's sermon topic. Then the children go downstairs for Children's Church. Parents and guardians should pick up their preschoolers in Room 104 and the older children in the Music Room after worship. PLEASE USE THE SIGNOUT SHEET WHEN PICKING UP YOUR CHILDREN.
