The Wesley Fellowship Sunday School class began the study of MESSY PEOPLE by Jennifer Cowart on June 26th and will continue it for 6 weeks. And who are MESSY PEOPLE? You and ME and lots of characters in the Bible. God loves to use MESSY PEOPLE! We will dig into the lives of biblical heroes who were MESSY PEOPLE just like us but who were used by God in powerful ways. We will examine the MESSY stories of Rahab, the prodigal son, Josiah, Mary, David, and Daniel. We will learn how God can use broken people, restore damaged hearts and relationships, give us power to handle our critics and help us deal with the hard moments of life. Come join us at 9:15 am on Sunday mornings and discover that we don't have to just endure messy lives but can actually learn to thrive with God's help and guidance.

September 11th after the 10 am service - Membership Interest Lunch in the Fellowship Hall - Learn about ZUMC!
We are excited about our faith and being United Methodists, especially in Zebulon! In fact, we are so excited that we want to share all the good things we have going on in our church with members, the community and beyond.
In an effort to share our faith, we are going to have a Membership Interest Sunday on Sept. 11 from 11:15 am (right after service) until 1:15 pm. This is a great opportunity to not only share the good things going on in our church, but to invite friends, neighbors
and family to see what Zebulon United Methodist Church is all about. We’ll start out with a food fellowship (Brats and Tots) prepared by our own Bob Russo and friends; have a few members give testimonies, present tables outlining our various ministries and activities, maybe show the video from Vacation Bible School and hear a musical selection by our awesome choir.
We are hoping that all of you will take a moment to think about who to invite and then present the names and addresses to Debra at the church office or contact Sue Kiley White, Membership Chair. Let's make this a very memorable day in the life of Zebulon UMC and share our blessings!
“7 Fortresses of Faith” Sermon Series continues today, Sunday, August 7th, with the focus on the Iona Community in Iona, Scotland. Travel with us in worship this summer! We are exploring important churches from all over the world in our Services and tying them in with spiritual practices to help us grow in our faith. We conclude our series next Sunday, August 14th, by highlighting ZUMC!
The ZUMC Mission Team is planning a Wednesday night dinner at McLean’s on the 17th of August at 6:30. This is just an opportunity for the congregation to come together to share a meal and fellowship. There is no program planned. We will have a drawing and one lucky person/family will have their meal covered by the Mission Team. Come one and come all!!
